  • June 2009 Chevrolet Camaro Sales Figures Released

With a dark cloud hanging over General Motors these days there is at least one bright spot on the sales front as the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro has the title of being the best selling muscle car for the month of June beating out the Ford Mustang by 1,688 units.  The margin could have even been wider but the Generals supply constraints limited Camaro deliveries for June.

Sales of the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro for June of 2009 were 9,320 compared to 5,463 from the previous month showing a 41% increase in month to month sales.  Year to date Camaro sales are 15,397.

2010 Chevrolet Camaro Delayed A Month

According to General Motors today they contacted dealers to let them know 2010 Camaro production has been delayed until March 16, one month after the initial start date. No reason was given to the dealers from GM but some have speculated the delay in production is due to problems with parts suppliers or the high demand for the SS model.
