First Production 2010 Camaro to be Auctioned at Barrett-Jackson
This coming January at the 2009 Barrett-Jackson Collector car auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, Chevrolet will be auctioning off the "first retail production coupe" of the 2010 Camaro (lot# 1316). Looks like Chevrolet is taking a cue from Ford on how to introduce a new vehicle. Ford was very successfull doing this with the first 2007 Shelby GT500 & 2007 Shelby GT models off the line. The Barrett-Jackson website offers no details of what model will be auctioned but you can bet it will be an SS version. The auction is set for Saturday the 17th which is typical the big day for all the higher profile cars. Proceeds from this auction will be donated to the American Heart Association.
